As of September 2023, the Federal Aviation Administration has implemented new regulations that will affect all individuals operating unmanned aerial vehicles. In order to comply with these changes, it is now mandatory for all flyable equipment to be equipped with a transponder. This transponder serves a dual purpose: not only will it be visible on airport radars, but it will also be detectible by law enforcement agencies, enabling them to determine the location of the controller. While Nathaniel Jackson Productions' UAV units can continue to be used, it is essential that we await further instructions regarding the acquisition of the necessary hardware to ensure the continued operation of our existing units. Although there may be a brief interruption in flight activity during this transitional phase, we remain optimistic that the interim period will be minimal.
